TapWorldChamps is an independent, unofficial archive of the IDO World Tap Dance Championships.

All results are taken from the official website of the International Dance Organization, ido-dance.com. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to IDO. The official results on ido-dance.com always prevail.

Results from 1991 to 2006 come from the book History of the IDO World Tap dance Championships 1991–2023 by Michael Wendt, used with the author's permission. The book prints only the top placings (usually 1–6), without age groups; in 1991–1994 solos and duos of men and women competed in one list, and in 1995–1998 men and women danced in one solo category. The 1993 results are not preserved. Ask on this website can search the whole book.

Every category page links to its original page on ido-dance.com (or to the page of the book). We only show what IDO publishes: placing, name of the dancer, duo or team, and country. No photos, ages or other personal details.

Many participants are children. Dancer pages are therefore hidden from search engines. Details are in our privacy information.
