TapWorldChamps runs an MCP server. Connect it once to Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant and ask about the World Tap Dance Championships results directly in your chat – in any language, with links to the pages here. It is free and read-only; your assistant runs on your own account.

How to connect

Claude

claude.ai → Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
Name: TapWorldChamps, URL: the address above → Add.
In a chat, turn on the connector in the tools menu and ask.

ChatGPT

Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced → turn on Developer mode.
Create a connector with the address above (no authentication).
Choose it in a new chat and ask.

Other MCP clients

Transport: Streamable HTTP (stateless, JSON responses), no authentication. Limit 120 requests per minute.

What your assistant can look up

list_championships – all championships with year, city and status
get_medal_table – country medal table for a year or a range of years
get_championship – categories of one championship with medalists
get_category_results – full placings of one category
search_results – find a dancer, duo or team by name
get_country – a country's medals year by year
get_dancer – all results of one dancer
